The artist Rao Fu draws on different cultures: China, the old Middle Kingdom, the West and also America, the New World. In this way, he creates pictorial spaces in his painting in which the foreign can meet and unite to form fictional landscapes. In a new geography, "Chimerica" is thus created from China and America.
