The Städtische Galerie Dresden is the state capital's art museum. Not far from Dresden's Frauenkirche church, the exhibition rooms are located in the prestigious ambience of the historic »Landhaus«, which was built between 1770 and 1775. With a permanent exhibition and regularly changing presentations, the Städtische Galerie has been committed to the rich production of art in Dresden and the region from the 19th century to the present day since its opening in 2005.
