This year, Tony Franz received a six-month studio grant from the Cultural Foundation of the Free State of Saxony. In our project space, we are presenting the works created during this period. The starting point for Tony Franz's current drawings are the paintings of crying children by the artist Giovanni Bragolin (1911 - 1981), which were widely distributed as prints in the 1980s, and their use in the media.
