The museums of the city of Dresden and Willkommen im Hochland e. V. are organising an exhibition for refugees, asylum seekers and migrants. Under the name "NAHNU", the Städtische Galerie Dresden is showing photography, graphics, handicrafts and paintings in April.
There is currently a lot of talk about the integration of refugees and asylum seekers. An exchange about different customs, traditions and cultures is an important prerequisite for mutual acceptance and tolerance. Art can be an important medium for an exchange beyond language. The exhibition at the Städtische Galerie aims to promote both the culture of dialogue and the dialogue of culture. Twenty artists and a group of artists will be represented in the exhibition with around 60 works.
