The Dresden Foundation for Art & Culture of the Ostsächsische Sparkasse Dresden has been awarding two scholarships annually for master students of the Dresden University of Fine Arts together with the "Deutschlandstipendium" programme since 2012. The 2024/2025 scholarship holders are exhibiting in our project space.

Si Cheng (born 1994 in Xinjiang) creates works from foam, textile and handmade paper that are reminiscent of biomorphic forms, soft skin and networks and explore themes such as transience and decay. Some of her works deal with the life cycle of an octopus and emphasise the fragility of memory and knowledge that is lost over time.

Gleb Konkin-von Serebrowski (born 1997 in St Petersburg) works with various media. At the centre of his art are installations made from objets trouvés - historical finds that he combines with elements he has created himself in order to make personal and collective traumas visible.
