The Dresden Foundation for Art & Culture of the Ostsächsische Sparkasse Dresden, together with the "Deutschlandstipendium" programme, awards two project scholarships each year to outstanding master students at the Dresden University of Fine Arts. The recipients for 2025/2026 are Martin Bertelmann and Angelina Seibert. Following their sponsorship period, they will present their current works in the project space of the Städtische Galerie Dresden.

Martin Bertelmann, born in Riesa in 1990, is a master student of Professor Alicja Kwade.
He is concerned with the transformation of landscapes by us humans. In the exhibition, he shows analogue photographs and photograms from the darkroom, which he complements with installation elements.

Angelina Seibert

Angelina Seibert, born 1988 in Karlsruhe, is a master student of Professor Monika Brandmeier. She deals with everyday experiences in her installations, particularly from the domestic sphere and in relation to motherhood. Her works go beyond the purely personal when she symbolically visualises the absurd, intimacy or resistance.
